I went to Hornsey College of Art (Middx Poly) in 1977 and completed the MA in children's book illustration at Anglia Ruskin University in 2009. I have worked over a wide range of fields: books, courses, cards, web work and individual clients – being regularly commissioned to paint people in front of their homes.”

I was commissioned to work with Leo Schulz on the A2 sheet of the history of the British Monarchy for SelfMadeHero in 2022 and Leo and I are now working on a set of Shakespeare stories and merchandise arising out of these.
Our process is for Leo to choose text from each play to illustrate and I draw a series of vignettes to illustrate the flow of the story - to give an overview on one A3 page. Here you see A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Romeo and Juliet as posters…
